The UEFA European Football Championship (EURO 2024) are starting this week, a football competition that’s held every four years for 24 qualifying football teams in Europe.
In aid of Prostate Cancer UK, we’re challenging our colleagues to virtually cover the distance between each country that is taking part in EURO 2024, starting on Friday 14th June, and finishing on Sunday 14th July.
So, what’s the game plan? There are 24 countries in the Euros – starting with the most northern which is Scotland, all the way down to Turkey. We will pass through Spain, Germany, Italy and many more. The distance is around 10,000 miles and you can help us achieve this by walking, running, swimming, cycling, or doing any other kind of activity that helps us travel this distance. Every time we complete these miles, phs Group will make a £500 donation to Prostate Cancer UK.
Every pound raised makes a big difference in the fight against prostate cancer, whether it’s funding innovative research, providing advice and guidance through their nurses’ service, or by advocating for men with prostate cancer in government.
